Each business we back stays independent, with its own name, management and results, while the group is built so that, over time, its businesses can support one another across the life of a building.

What this means in practice

Each business keeps its own client relationships and its own way of working.
Where it makes sense, work can be shared between businesses in the group, rather than going outside.
Central support, such as finance, purchasing and governance, is shared, so each business carries less overhead alone.
Each business is accountable for its own performance.

We are deliberately selective about the businesses we back. We would rather build carefully than quickly.
