Patrick O’Donnell

Founder and Director

Patrick is a board-level business leader, investor and acquisition specialist with more than 30 years’ experience leading, growing and transforming businesses across construction, property, infrastructure and M&A-related sectors.

Beginning his career as an apprentice carpenter, Patrick progressed through operational, commercial and executive leadership roles before serving at Managing Director and Chief Executive level with some of the UK’s largest development and construction companies. Throughout his career he has delivered growth, acquisitions, operational improvement and successful business transitions across a wide range of businesses.

Today, through JLC Equity Holdings, Patrick focuses on acquiring and supporting established construction and property services businesses, helping owners achieve succession objectives while preserving the culture, people and relationships that underpin long-term success.

He holds three degrees, including one in Quantity Surveying and an MBA with Distinction.

Daniel O’Donnell

Business Development and Investment Operations

Having originally built a career as a professional footballer, Daniel developed the discipline, resilience and performance-focused mindset required to succeed at the highest levels of competitive sport.

Following professional football, he transitioned into financial markets, becoming a successful independent foreign exchange trader. Through this experience he developed strong analytical capabilities, disciplined decision-making and a detailed understanding of risk management, capital allocation and performance measurement.

Today, at JLC Equity Holdings, Daniel evaluates opportunities, supports business development initiatives and contributes to the strategic growth of the group’s portfolio. Combining a competitive mindset with commercial discipline, he brings a long-term perspective and commitment to supporting the continued success of the businesses within the group.

Anthony Goodings

Commercial Development and Portfolio Operations

Anthony began his career as a time-served plasterer, gaining first-hand experience of the construction industry and developing a practical understanding of project delivery, client service and operational excellence.

Building on this foundation, he successfully transitioned into financial markets as a professional foreign exchange trader, where he refined his analytical skills, commercial judgement and disciplined approach to evaluating opportunities and managing risk.

At JLC Equity Holdings, Anthony works closely with management teams and supports the evaluation and development of acquisition opportunities across the group. His combination of practical construction experience and commercial analysis provides valuable insight when assessing businesses and supporting long-term growth initiatives.
